Far Cry 2 gameplay (PC. Real Africa mod)
158I installed a mod for Far Cry 2 that removes the brown/grey tint that the developers placed over the game for whatever reason. I do not know why developers did it, but it was a common practice in the early days of the HD era. Fallout 3 had that green tint, and New Vegas had the orange tint, as examples. It makes the game look quite a bit clearer. Check it out. I fucking love this game. Here's a link to the mod:

I suppose this game could use a good remaster to clean up textures and whatnot, but it's amazing how good this 12 year old game still looks. The African Savanna is a gorgeous setting for an open world game, as well.
