Far Cry 5: Lost On Mars DLC - Part 1 - Abducted To Save The World!?
We catch up with Nick Rye in Far Cry's second DLC as he is abducted to Mars by Hurk and a mysterious AI called ANNE in order to save the world from a Crab invasion. But it doesn't stop there Hurk has a lovely surprise in store for us...
Far Cry 5: Lost On Mars released on the 17th of July 2018 is the second of the three DLC packs for Far Cry 5. This pack involves saving the earth from a possible invasion by a weird species known as Arachnids.
Lost On Mars introduces a new map to explore, New weapons including the single-shot Blaster of Disaster, the Hellfire (Basically a Shotgun with a lot of bouncing balls), and the Morphinator, described as a "fearsome weapon that turns your enemies into explosive, arachnid-attracting cows". Gadgets include the Cock Blocker (Take No Damage), Space Wings (Wingsuit) and also many other upgrades.
There is only one gun for hire in the DLC and it comes in the form of Hurk, But not human body form. Hurk has been for a better word Dismembered and his parts have spread all over the map except his head. So his consciousness is instead transferred into a small flying robot body, dubbed by Hurk as "Brobot".
Missions range from activating terminals and killing alien queens to collecting Larry's notes and also jumping into thermal vents to get some sweet hallucinations.
Far Cry 5 released on the 27th of March 2018 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is the newest release in the series and was the successor of Far Cry Primal that released in 2016. The game is set in the fictional Hope County, Montana, where a preacher named Joseph Seed (portrayed by Greg Bryk) has risen to prominence. Seed believes that he has been chosen by God to protect the people of Hope County from an "inevitable collapse" and has established a congregation called the Project at Eden's Gate.
