Far Cry New Dawn Walkthrough - Part 3 - Helping Selene And Timber!
0New Dawn continues as we take a deep dive into a familiar bunker to retrieve some lost supplies for a new specialist called Selene, Plus we also go and rescue Timber who is imprisoned in a highwaymen camp.
Far Cry New Dawn released on February 15, 2019, is a spin-off sequel to Far Cry 5 and also the first post-apocalyptic entry into the Far Cry Series. Based in Hope County 17 years after the nuclear event called the Collapse those that survived attempted to rebuild, But when the Highwaymen showed up led by twins Mickey (Cara Ricketts) and Lou (Leslie Miller). The Survivors are forced to seek help from outside Hope County.
The player takes on a new role. Nicknamed the Captain and many other "colourful" names he and the other survivors must potentially make an alliance with New Eden (remnants of Eden's Gate) led by Joseph Seed (Greg Bryk) the antagonist of Far Cry 5.
Along with a refreshed map even though parts are inaccessible, New Dawn introduces a character as well as returning ones along with new weapons such as the Saw launcher. Guns and Fangs for hire are back as well with each member gaining new abilities after a certain amount of kills are reached. prepper stashes from Far Cry 5 have returned as treasure hunts and your home base known as Prosperity can be upgraded to give the player extra benefits.
Players can liberate different enemy outposts. Once liberated, they become fast travel points that enable players to quickly navigate the world. These outposts can be occupied and used to manufacture ethanol fuel or Salvaged for resources which leaves the outpost open to "escalation", in which the Highwaymen may reclaim these camps. This allows the player to replay the outposts on higher difficulty settings.
New Dawn also features a new mode called Expeditions which allows the player to go outside Hope County and travel to different areas of the United States to attack Highwaymen Stronghold and gather rarer crafting materials. Because these areas are not part of the main map and are smaller in size, The development team were able to add in higher numbers of enemies and different complex environments to make these missions more of a challenge and also at higher levels similar to the outposts. Both the main Storyline and Expeditions can be played Co-op.
