Farewell

it never occured to anyone that the final days were the sweetest, feeling summers glow and winters chill kiss me at the same time was so divine,

sounds that caressed my soul that day were sweet like nectar and the journey was all to quickly at an end.


the familiar faces from then and before mixed with such a restful ease and the smell of spring on the ice cold air was natures greatest release

soul was cleaning the path to the future that day and the tide was changeing fast

in the town we sat above the ocean and and watched children of peace laughing

the total tranquility of stolen moments in the last 5 days at the beginning of the end

waving farewell as the sun set was a bitter sweet refrain ,but the sounds and love of that day remained

my love takes me back there with such a fond and jelous glow, to know what was to become of me would have made and destroyed me

is the obituary of the beach so fresh the new destination for my retrospective longing soul.
