On March 27, 2023, at 8 PM EST/5 PM PST, Nintendo closed the Wii U Shop! I recorded what I thought was going to be when it going to close, which was around 3 AM EST/12 AM PST. Then I recorded around the time I heard that the eShop might close at, which was 8 PM EST/5 PM EST!

It turned out that the user that did a live stream of when the shop was going to close was right! It sucks that people were not allowed to have more time! They could have put the close time at 12 AM PST or 12 AM EST to allow people to have more time to buy games off the eShop. Nope! They had to close it early!

Sorry, Nintendo! This was the WRONG decision!

See what happened to the Wii U eShop after it closed at 8 PM EST/5 PM PST here, it was sad indeed! No more legal Wii U purchases off the eShop, No more legal Virtual Console purchases, Hello to more piracy! Thanks, Nintendo! You don't care!

The good news is, I was able to buy more games for the Wii U that were legal and more reviews from that system are coming!

RIP, Wii U eShop! You will be sadly missed!!
