Today Fractal Audio Systems dropped "Quantum" Rev 9 Beta for the Axe FX II. Since I had a half day between airports, I had to give it a go! One comment left by Admin on the Fractal forum said that, "For a good example of the changes load up an amp block with the Plexi 50W 6550 model and a cab block with cab #61. Reset the amp block (double-click Bypass). Turn Speaker Compression down to 0. Now turn it up to 4 or so and notice the difference.

Notice how the low end goes "chunka chunka" and the top end "clanks". Pick squeaks are also more prominent.

With a little work you can get scary close to early EVH."

So this, folks, is what I've done. I am no EVH and this preset was written inside 15 minutes, but it should provide you with a reasonable starting point from which to write your own preset. Have fun with it, make it your own.
