Fast Casting Alchemy in Secret of Evermore - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
5,176In Secret of Evermore, there's a very simple trick you can use to quickly chain up to eight Alchemy abilities without having to wait for the casting animation to end. In other words, you can cast alchemy spells WAY FASTER than is normally intended.
All you need to do is hit the Select button to switch control to your dog. Once you are manually controlling your dog, you can hit the X button to open up the Human character's menu. Now, when you cast alchemy spells in this manner, the game won't make you wait for your spellcasting animation to end before the Human can act again.
So for example, you can have the human use the Flash ability, then immediately open up his menu to have him cast the Flash ability again up to a total of eight times. With this trick, you can attack enemies and bosses for massive damage very quickly by hitting them with eight alchemy spells (like Fireball or Hard Ball or most other offensive alchemy abilities) at once.
Some people call this glitch the Alchemy 8x Combo.
Otherwise, while manually controlling the Human character, casting spells is not nearly as rapid.
