Unfortunately, lots of backtracking for the last chapter.
I also didn't know what the hell was happening during the final boss battle so ended up with the bad ending.

Review (contains spoilers)

Pros
+ Good character and ghost designs
+ Tense atmosphere
+ Good mix of outdoor and indoor areas
+ Fun camera gameplay. I actually liked rotating the camera to adjust shots although I'm sure it was annoying on the Wii U
+ Fatal glances were a good addition to see exactly how people died
+ Each playable character felt different enough

Cons
- Too much backtracking (even moreso than other Fatal Frame games)
- They shouldn't have brought back Miku. She had a good closing arc in Fatal Frame 3. Now they made her relationship with Mafuyu incestuous
- Controls were a bit clunky and I miss the 180 degree quick turn
- It's fine to experiment and it was interesting to see, but I don't think "Five nights at Freddy's" style gameplay fits well in Fatal Frame

Overall, I enjoyed the game and would give it a 7/10. Fatal Frame games are consistently good.
