In this part of Fatal Frame we continued off from finding the clues of the Shinto Shrine and finding the 5th buddha statue. I had to retrace my steps from the previous part of this playthrough and I searched the Shinto gate again and eventually found the 5th statue for the pedestal and afterward I had to arrange the buddha statues on the pedestal in order from how the limbs were ripped off and then I was presented a piece of the Holy Mirror. At the end of it all the Rope Shrine Maiden appeared out of the mirror and afflicted us with the curse of the rope marks. We wake up in the room with the Japanese dolls and a ghost child appears and steals the piece of the mirror that we just got and runs off with it and we learn about how the kids actually went missing. The layout of the mansion changed and there now parts of it that we now have access to, but throughout that whole journey and fighting the missing kids we find more of Mafuyu's notes and find out that he took matters into his own hands. We end up following him into the lower cellar of the Mansion and we need the piece of the door to go any further so we have to find the surrounding clues to hopefully find that piece of the door to catch up with Mafuyu.
