Captured live - no edits, just the raw feelings of a tech worker trying to get by amidst these 2022/2023 big tech lay-offs. It's imperfect and incomplete.

While my fate is still unknown, my heart goes out to everyone affected across all companies right now. It's been hard to hear & read everyone's stories about how we're all affected - those who were laid off, those who remain, and those in limbo.

⚠️⚠️ FEB 6, 2023 UPDATE: Found out today that I survived the Canadian round of layoffs!! While I feel a huge sense of relief, I am saddened and bummed by my Canadian co-workers who, unfortunately, did not make it. Sending them all well wishes - it's a stinky situation all around.
