Here we have the next game I wanted to tackle, which actually comes out tomorrow. I'm in the early access version of the game right now that is supposed to be finalized in terms of game balance, however there are still some areas that need to be tweaked, as the menus don't seem to display correctly at 1080 resolution. As such, I don't know how much money I have unless I save, but hopefully that will be addressed for the 3rd video.

As for the story here, we are playing as Kyrie, an Arbiter who is tasked with enforcing the laws of the land. However, when the game starts, there is a quest for promotion offered to a group of individuals that is going to upset the fragile peace. With the corruption that has been plaguing the Arbiters for some time, Kyrie is going to be sent on a mission to purge them of this corruption, which is going to lead to quite a bit of internal strife. Things are only made worse when the machinations of the corrupt are slowly dragged into light.

In terms of gameplay, this is a grid-based strategy RPG that is best compared to Final Fantasy Tactics due to how the job system in the game here works. Luckily, there is a greater degree of character customization to set it apart. You will have access to a variety of jobs, with one job serving as the catalyst to unlock others. As you master the jobs, you are given access to new combat abilities, passives, and even reaction abilities that you can mix and match to create the character you want to field. Beyond this, you can adjust the generic characters with a variety of options, giving much more freedom than other games of the genre.

So this is the project I wanted to use to lead into May. I am going to aim for frequent releases barring any complications that arise. Jimmy is mostly finished with me just having to splice the remaining videos together and Exogenesis will be moving onto weekends. Depending on how my schedule shifts in the coming days, we'll see what all happens and whether I can get the transition to work as smoothly as I hoped.
