3Jousting Tournamet Rules:
Specialty Lances are used, that deal non-lethal damage at 2d6+STR bludgeoning. The damage dealt is the DC for the an Animal Handling Check to maintain control over your mount and to maintain on it. If you receive 13 points of damage, then you need to make a DC 13 Animal Handling, or be dismounted.
Magic Tournament Rules:
Counterspells are straight out illegal. However, if someone wishes to use it, then a DC 15 Sleight of Hand check to cast it without being noticed. Two casters cast a spell and then use the Arcana skill to mold the spell into a new form, such as butterflies or screaming skulls. The one with the higher Arcana Skill out of 3 spells wins the round.
Horseback Archery Rules:
Animal Handling checks every time someone goes to shoot their bow, no crossbows. They ride in a circle around the targets and get 3 shots and get to choose between 3 different targets. First one is at an AC14, second at AC16, and the last at AC18. The horses are trained to go at a full gallop and to not stop until a command word is given.
The Gauntlet Rules:
160ft Long with multiple traps lining the path. Swinging axes, pendulum blades, pit falls, spike traps, dart traps and so on. Contestants have 5 rounds to get through the gauntlet. DC for the traps are to be set and adjusted by the DM’s discretion.
