FF7RI (PC) Gameplay Performance Test For My PC
2A short test to see how this runs on my machine. Just casual-ing a story playthrough while I rewatch cutscenes and unlock stuff, not played in a few months so expect rusty gameplay lol.
Mostly 60fps with some slight drops here and there (more in cutscenes actually) and this was recorded NOT streamed so I took a small hit of 10fps to record this as opposed to less intensive streaming via YT itself
My machine is
i7 6700 Cpu @ 3.4GHz
16gb Ram (DDR3)
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti (4GB Low Profile)
Graphic Settings are shown at the end and tinkered with to show the differences with SDR & HDR (as far as my machine can show anyways at only 1080p)
Do NOT bother with HDR. In my opinion, it looks too washed out and loses some of the depth in the darkness (blacks not properly black like you would see on one of those fancy new TV's)
Also this is just above PS4 quality especially in terms of framerate but my specs can't quite reach the full HDR and PS5 level fidelity (Even though PS5 4k is still only 30fps, and I'm done with 30 so I will always go for 60 even at a slight loss of graphic fidelity tbh)
Otherwise, so far it runs well even for streaming and even at 50fps while recording is still better than base ps4 ver so I'm pretty happy with it for now until I can upgrade further!
EDIT: I changed some settings in-game and with the Nvidia control panel and was maintaining 60-75fps from CH3 to CH7 where I am currently.
