I was going to start recording DKC 3, but ran into some issues with my DVD recorder, so it'll have to be delayed again. Meanwhile, I'm starting my next (and probably last) challenge in the regular version of FFVII. If I do another playthrough, it'll be a mod. Progress on this challenge will be quick in the beginning with new parts at least every other day. Hopefully it'll be much tougher and more interesting than my current L1 challenge.

Rules:

- No Damage Dealing Items
- No HP Plus
- Level 1 Materia Only
- No Sources

This rules out any abuse of too powerful items, HP Plus and Cover, the main things that made my current challenge too easy. Coin is automatically banned because of the L1 Materia rule, but Throw is allowed. I'm not gonna bother with a long abbreviation for this one, so I'm just calling it the Hardcore Challenge.

Before anyone asks: I'm not even touching the speed run until late October. And yes, I am going to continue the FFIX challenge. I hope to resolve the recording issues soon so that I can start DKC 3. Not using an emulator for that.

PS. I'm currently playing The Last Of Us and it's awesome.

PS2. I sped this up because it's not a very interesting battle.
