OMG U USED TEH ITUMZ U CHEATZOR! Yes, I did. I used items to kill Cloud and Barret because that is the quickest way to kill them. In battles like these, I will always ignore the rules and kill off the other characters as quickly as possible. The actual solo battle doesn't start until Aerith is the only character standing. Of course, I can't damage the enemy or heal her until then. That would be breaking the rules.

I really wanted to do this with Bolt, to make the battle as quick as possible, but there was just no way I could survive three rounds of Twin Burner and Rolling Fire with only Healing Wind. Thus, I had to use Restore and deplete his 2600 HP slowly with back row physical attacks. They deal a whopping 14 damage and thanks to Fury, they miss quite a few times too.

After the NM battle, I did some research and learned that both Twin Burner and Rolling Fire require MP. He can use both attacks three times before he runs out. Then, his attack pattern is Arm Attack, Arm Attack, physical, physical, Deadly Wheel, repeat. There's a 50% chance Arm Attack is used twice. None of these deal very high damage, so staying alive with only Healing Wind here is easy.

The strategy is pretty much the same as the NMIENA one, except that I use physical attacks instead of Grenades. It can be hard if you don't know his AI, but otherwise, it's easy. The only big difference is that this battle takes a VERY LONG TIME. We're talking more than an hour, so what you see here is less than 1/6 of the battle.
