Where's Reno? He's impossible in these challenges because of his Pyramid attack. In order to beat him, you would have to use an attack that caused more than 1000 damage before his first turn and that simply cannot be done. If I let Barret take the Pyramid and then had Tifa kill him before the next Pyramid (four turns later), it wouldn't be a solo battle.
Stupid Nanaki has to enter this battle on full health. If there's anything I hate, it's when I can't enter a battle with only one character in a solo challenge. When you enter with two or more characters, no matter how quickly you kill the others, it's not a true solo battle in my opinion.
Ah well, it doesn't make a huge difference. This one isn't too bad, as you can use the good old Grenade Frenzy strategy. You just have to make sure to heal enough. I didn't have to use that Elixir in the end, but I forgot to count one Grenade and thought I needed two more to kill him.
