This isn't a very exciting battle, but it requires some strategy. When you don't use magic, Aps will either attack a random person in back row with his physical attack or use Lick on the person in the middle, and we can take advantage of this to kill off Tifa without too much trouble. Once his HP falls below 1200, he goes into Tsunami mode and it's a good idea to get Aerith in back row before that. Preferably defending too. Killing off Cloud can be done easily by putting him in back row so that he eats all the physical attacks. In other words, it's a good idea to know his AI, or else you might face your first KO here.
