Revisiting Nostalgia road.

Let me make this clear: I'm not too into Final Fantasy as a whole. not for any reason outside of i couldn't really afford the games growing up, and also much like with Persona, i didn't know where exactly to start when i was a kid. so i don't know exactly how much the combat has changed up since VII's release. and with that said, i wouldn't mind getting into the other games, if i got the chance to do so (heard a lot of good things about IX).

but FFVII was a part of my childhood, and after seeing the Remake on sale, i had to revisit that part of my life. (i had to go back and see how far i got in my game, i actually did beat it, i just forgot.)

aside from the updated graphics and being told that the game right out of the gate changes a lot of the original, i actually knew little to nothing about the remake, so much of this was all brand new to me. and needless to say, it was all really well done.

i know it was always a joke about how long the Remake would take, but I can honestly see why it took so long. and yes, i am aware that this game does not cover the whole story, and that there is a Part 2 that'll release sometime in the future.
