FFVII Remake summed up in one scene.
0No expense was spared highlighting certain scenes from the original. Makes part of the game feel bloated and irrelevant if you're familiar with the original but we also got a Honey Bee dance number that is just as high on the "I hope nobody walks in on me playing this" as the massage sequence in Final Fantasy X-2. I'm convinced that there is no oversight for Nomura and this is why his projects take so long. Not necessarily a bad thing since this game looks amazing and the modernized combat system is pretty fun for the most part. I would honestly be fine if there were no new mainline numbered Final Fantasy games and they just remade all of them starting with the first game after finishing the VII remake.
