FINAL FANTASY X

 Godhand is a Celestial Weapon and it is the most powerful weapon for Rikku in the game.
You must obtain the Celestial Mirror before you can obtain or create any of the Celestial Weapons.

How to obtain the Celestial Mirror which can be used to create each of the Celestial Weapons.


In order to create the fully powered-up Godhand you will need to obtain the Godhand weapon itself first, then use the Mercury Crest and the Mercury Sigil to power it up.

Obtaining Godhand

Enter the GODHAND Al Bhed Password into the Airship map screen. Check out the Airship Passwords and Hidden Coordinates section for more information on the different secret areas that can be accessed through the map.


Entering GODHAND will give you access to Mushroom Rock as one of the locations in the list. Travel there and follow the pathway along until you reach the treasure chest. This treasure chest can only be opened if you have the Celestial Mirror in your inventory - it contains Godhand which has some pretty terrible stats to start off with. Time to obtain the crest and sigil!

Mercury Crest

The Mercury Crest can be found in Sanubia Desert - West on Bikanel Island. Use the menu screen to make sure you are in the correct area of the desert. There is a whirlpool to the west that contains a treasure chest with the Mercury Crest inside it.

Mercury Sigil

You receive the Mercury Crest for successfully completing the Village of the Cactuars side quest.

Complete the Cactuar Village side quest to obtain the Mercury Sigil, one of the pieces of Rikku’s Celestial Weapon, Godhand.

Godhand has the following abilities when fully powered up:
Break Damage Limit - Allows Rikku to do more than 9,999 damage in a single attack
Triple Overdrive - Charges Rikku’s Overdrive at triple the speed
Double AP - Allows Rikku to earn double the AP for each battle
Gillionaire - Doubles the amount of gil earned after each battle

Village of the Cactuars

This side quest involves tracking down some Cactuars in the Sanubia Desert in order to obtain the Mercury Sigil for Rikku’s Celestial Weapon, the Godhand.
The Cactuar Village side quest is much easier if you have armor with the No Encounters ability. Random encounters will drastically increase the amount of time and effort that the quest entails and you should not attempt to complete it without obtaining this ability. Check out the No Encounters Tips and Tricks section for more information on how to add this ability to your armor.

Chava 👉 (sorry edition) On the west side of the fourth screen, Sanubia Desert - West, is an area where the paths make an X. There are two signposts. Go to the one on the left and press X to read it. It reads, in Al Bhed, "Danger! Strong fiends in the area!" and below that, "20% off all Travel Agency goods!"

Ao entrar em GODHAND, você terá acesso a Mushroom Rock como um dos locais da lista. Viaje até lá e siga o caminho até chegar ao baú do tesouro. Este baú de tesouro só pode ser aberto se você tiver o Espelho Celestial em seu inventário - ele contém Godhand, que tem algumas estatísticas terríveis para começar. É hora de obter o brasão e o sigilo!


Mercury Crest

O Mercury Crest pode ser encontrado no Deserto de Sanubia - Oeste na Ilha Bikanel. Use a tela do menu para se certificar de que está na área correta do deserto. Há um redemoinho a oeste que contém um baú do tesouro com a crista de Mercúrio dentro.


Mercury Sigil

Você recebe o Mercury Crest por completar com sucesso a missão secundária Village of the Cactuars.
