FFXI 30FPS Frame Skip
I've been having a weird frame skipping problem once per second or 30frames while I play FFXI, I'm not sure what the problem is exactly, but I do know it is annoying as hell when I notice it.
I've forgotten what I have tried, but I'll add which things I have below when I remember them. Any help, even restating a few things would be appreciated. Just don't repeat what someone else says unless you can think of something to add or a file or what not I could have forgotten.
And yes, my fecking video card drivers are updated, they've been updated for a long time, and I do mean currently updated.
Thanks for the help, FailueFox/Templis

Update 06/11/2010
Still having trobule with this, I am able to deal with it most of the time, but randomly I just get super irritated with it and go on a 'MUST FIX PROBLEM' bout.
Here is what I've tried so far:
Update everything
Disconnect USB devices
Disable HID components (I actually uninstalled one that removed most all the rest. Computer still functions though... *thumbs up?*)
Disabled everything to do with QoS
Screaming really loud at it
Setting POL and FFXI in compatibility mode with Windows XP SP2
I'm going to see if my old XP will work without trouble. If it does then SP2 has the problem as well, or it is my home network. I will try at school sometime to make sure it isn't that.

Update: July 03, 2010
Fixed, you will never guess how stupidly simple it was. Yes, it was the stupid QoS Packet Scheduler. This is a common problem that many people have solved by disabling the QoS Packet Scheduler found in the properties of the network connection. I had disabled it, and it never worked. This time I uninstalled it completely, and NOW it worked... Whatever. The path my computer had to find the network connections was Control Panel\Network Connections, then right click on my connection, then disable or uninstalling the QoS Packet Scheduler. I seriously cannot believe that THIS was the problem. As I said I tried it before and it hadn't worked. Buuuut UNINSTALLING it did... whatever.
