Cerberus Seether is the final boss of Bhaflau Remnants II if your party managed to pop the NQ Cerberus back on the floor before. Both Cerberus' are similar in nature. As the fight goes on, this Cerberus begins to use Gates of Hades and even Archon Flame as it's HP reaches a certain low number. To complicate things, this Cerberus likes to gain some substantial PDT as it gets lower and lower in HP, so bringing an appropriate array of DD will help smooth out the fight (IE Formless Strikes MNK, Twilight Scythe DRK, Murasama SAM).

I am of opinion that a White Mage should always tank a Cerberus up front with the rest of their party. The more people they hit with their Curas and Curagas, the more effecient the spell becomes and avoiding this super painful spell is very difficult, so you might as well take it to the face and smile at him.

Open up with a full array of buffs and go right in and begin work on the Cerberus. I would recommend riding Divine Caress as Divine Caress + Accession or Divine Seal + Paralyna + Orison Mitts +2 means that the next few Ululations coming across the table will do nothing, netting your party a 'free' TP attack at no harm.

Being up front also allows for a White Mage to quickly switch to Afflatus Misery and Esuna the Burns away, as well as pop a 'free' Cura III, as with that kind of damage hitting the face, you can easily get back a Cura III for 500 HP. This will more or less offset the Archon Flame or Gates of Hades damage if the White Mage has a powerful Barfira set.

Bear in mind that even though Cerberus is a Fire monster, it can be Paralyzed (after breaking a few immunobreaks...) and even Addled. The Addle can be useful as it may decrease the magic accuracy of Gates of Hades and Archon Flames to incredibly manageable levels. I've seen Cerberus hit the party with back to back Gates or Flames and that can be incredibly painful on a White Mages MP, so be prepared for that.

Do note that Esuna still works even without Afflatus Misery up and is a great way to remove Paralyze from everyone at once if one cannot remove it with Divine Caress + Paralyze.

Hope this helps! Good luck and happy hunting!
