In this episode, I summarise all of the announcements made during Live Letter from the Producer 12 today on 25th January 2014. An unofficial translation of the Live Letter by Reinheart can be found here:

New Features (Combined Summary):
1) Leviathan (Hard + Extreme Mode) - 8 man trial against new Primal Leviathan, takes places on a square boat out in the middle of the sea. Leviathan Chocobo barding. No Leviathan-Egi was available for summoners at this time. New Primal to follow every major content patch release from now on.
2) Halatali (Hard Mode) - 4 men hard mode of dungeon already in-game.
3) Brayflox Longstop (Hard Mode) - 4 men hard mode of dungeon already in-game.
4) Thornmarch (Extreme) - 8 man extreme mode trial against Good King Moggle Mog XIII.
5) Binding Coil of Bahamut Turn 6, Turn 7, Turn 8 and Turn 9 - None of these will be equivalent to Turn 3. They will all be full-on dungeons with monsters and bosses. These will be the hardest content available in Patch 2.2.
6) Ruins of Amdapor - New 4 man dungeon. Will be hardest 4 man dungeon available in-game once released.
7) New allagan tomestone higher rank than Philosophy and Mythology, yet to be named. Used to be higher item level gear than currently available in-game.
8) New higher-level crafts.
9) Vanity system known as Glamour System, available through crafting, no details on how it works yet.
10) New Fishing Challenges.
11) Chimaera and Hydra Added to Duty Finder for quest line A Relic Reborn
12) Market Board Updates - Wish List and better researching facilities to allow faster looking up of commonly used items.
13) Drake Mount colour change (Amalj'aa Rank 4 reward)
14) Binding Coil of Bahamut Turns 1-5 added to Duty Finder, weekly lockout removed.
15) New Hildibrand Missions
16) Kobold and Sahagin Beast Tribe Quests added
17) Small Houses will be increased in size to include a basement, doubling its current size.
18) PS4 Collector's Edition rewards - Fat Chocobo and Wind-up Moogle. These will be made available to all Collector Edition registered users upon release of the Playstation 4 version.
19) When raining, characters will appear visually drenched and affected by the weather.
20) While taking screenshots, players will automatically face the camera directly. Other players will be unaware that a player has taken a screenshot in that moment as the face movement will only happen on the player's client and not affect their in-game character appearance to others.
