Welcome to my extra hard challenge - The Iron Giant Challenge. This is a restrictive gameplay run of Final Fantasy XV Comrades with harsh rules applied to make the experience difficult and challenging. This is for players looking to squeeze more out of Comrades. Rules in full description.

1. Fresh Game Save: Your game must be in it’s initial state, you cannot make a new character on a pre-existing game state. This can be done by backing up your save and deleting it or making a new profile and accessing the game that way.
2. No Dying Policy: If you die, it’s game over. This is the biggest rule of the challenge. If you fail, leave the area or abort WITHOUT DYING, this is fine.
3. Birthplaces all OK: The initial birthplaces are all fair game.
4. BYO Clothes: You can wear whatever clothing you desire, as this does not affect game play.
5. Buy Gear: You can only buy weapons with Gil, you cannot use Trading Post or Quest weapons. You can use Arms Schematics to add more weapons to the shop in Lestallum.
6. Mercy Rule: You may equip and use 4 weapons.
7. Make Gil: You can sell any items to make money to buy gear you want.
8. No Upgrades: You cannot use Cid’s Weapon Bench. No weapon upgrading or upgrading weapons to an evolved state.
9. No Royal Sigils: You must unequip them if they are auto-equipped.
10. No Electrical Bill: You cannot use Navyth’s kW shop in Old Lestallum to get to higher level quests faster. Food items
11. Found Buffs Only: You may utilise any buffs obtained after a mission, but you may not purchase buffs with elemental stones.
12. No Friends: You can only play with AI. Making the game offline is a good way to enforce this.
13. No Food items: Self-revival is restricted, you will need to rely on your skill in healing. If you do this by mistake, just open menu and abort quest.
14. Curing is OK: You may use your Curative Spell to heal or any curative abilities attributed to any base level weapons. See the No Upgrades rule in regards to adding spells.
15. Magic is OK: You may use Offensive Spell: Blast or any spells attributed to any base level weapons. See the No Upgrades rule in regards to adding spells.
16. Survival Tactics OK: Dodging / warping / hanging are all OK. Counters and warp combo is fine.
