FGO: Case Files Challenge Quest (Waver first)
5Why am I doing this? Why am I doing this while still refusing to use the strong Caster Supports that would make this more doable?
Anyways, I think the fight speaks for itself. The gimmick is that you kill Alexander first, and while at it, Waver is a pain, giving Alex buffs and NP charge. All of that stops once if you somehow remove Waver.
The problem is, Waver has an 80% damage reduction as long as Alex is alive, and every time he's hit, he gets a 20% Defense up for 3 turns. This makes it really difficult to actually break through, especially since it's not very viable to do it slowly either.
Kintoki Rider works as the DPS, and every other Servant is just there to facilitate more buffs on him. Osakabehime doubles as the solo Servant against Alexander, as well as a buff remover so you can go at Waver twice.
The Command Codes for Kintoki:
Wedge of the Heavens is 20% Special Damage on most Servants, so there you go.
Coffin of the Fall increases Crit damage against Good alignment, which Waver is.
The Dark Disciple's Command Seal removes a defense debuff on hit. Not much else to put in here that's useful, I figured this might help with the damage slightly.
The Command Codes for Osakabehime:
First Servant, Lucky Beast and Bride of White Rose all contribute to survivability.
I did an earlier run without any of these, and they're not necessary, but especially with Okkie, it made the fight a lot less close.
