FG's Underrated Videogame Music 351 - Submarine Symphony (Jurassic Park SNES)
Name: Submarine Symphony
Game: Jurassic Park SNES
Developer: Ocean Software
Year of Release: 1993
Composer: Joe Dunn
Another underrated piece from this seminally-popular-for-its-time licensed game, what the game lacks in having a fair difficulty curve and better world layout, it makes up for with its atmosphere. The interior sections are fantastically dark and bone-chilling with the fear of being hunted, but other areas should get merit too, such as the Ocean.
Alan Grant's mission soon takes him to the docks of Isla Nublar, where he must hunt down and deal with the remaining dinosaurs who might be able to escape to the mainland by hiding on the boat. The atmosphere while in this area is strangely desolate, surrounded by rocks to the west with an impossibly thick jungle to the north. And nothing but ocean everywhere else.
Alone. Trapped on an island full of prehistoric beasts.
