If you play FIFA offline, why are you still using Tactical defending rather than Legacy? FIFA requires the user to micromanage defenders due to EA's brilliant listening of FUT players who want no "AI Defending", so offline players are given passive defending. A good way to combat this is switching to Legacy Defending. Legacy Defending will actually move the player towards the ball carrier rather than jockey gradually. This helps to close down space and if used well can cut down passing lanes.

I was pretty rusty as it was the first time I turned it back on. However, it was such a better experience defensively compared to using Tactical Defending. So give it a try and let me know in the comments below!
