FIFINE Dynamic Microphone K688 | Review
9Purchasing a dedicated microphone is a guaranteed way to kick any production you are working on up a huge notch, be it a podcast, youtube video or an improved mic for streaming gaming. This Fifine K688 Dynamic Mic with USB and XLR outputs and a dedicated headphone output would be a great first upgrade to any audio setup. This review demonstrates how the mic sounds recorded direct using the USB output off the mic, both unprocessed and with some slight 'spit and polish' EQ added to show the mic at its fines. It features controls for mic gain or sensitivity as well so you'll be able to dial in the perfect amount of volume for your environment. It comes with a slick looking pop filter that slips right over a cage around the mic and will help keep those plosives in check and not overload and clip the signal.
