So before a SoulCalibur character gets released as DLC, they are added in the game early, to be able to be unlocked easier, with the way the PS4 does this stuff. Which is interesting and all, but not only that, all stages get adjustments to help make the DLC character compatible, the character is, technically, already in the game after the update, and just needs that tiny code to say that you bought him, and he's available to fight in Arcade Mode, either at random, like Cassandra or Tira, or as the final stage in the normal difficulty. So yeah. This was recorded before Hwang is available here in the NA region.
