10HighFleet: Deus in Nobis is a HARD game. And this is just normal difficulty, but already my piloting skills are being tested to the highest degree. I am out hulled and outgunned, but what better time to learn is there than other intense life threatening pressure? I may have panic quit in the middle of one fight. it's that kind of game. But perseverance pays off eventually!
HighFleet is a game that wears a lot of different previous titles on its shoulders. In a sense, it's an exploration roguelike similar to FTL: Faster than Light. But it also has a very start post apocalyptic setting with the constant threat of nuclear war after the world has already fallen to nuclear war. Add in a mix of other games, such as traveling the world managing resources like Convoy, intense 2D ship combat like Starsector, and a robust and complicated ship designer like Kerbal Space Program and you have a game that, at least on paper, sounds almost custom built for this channel. It's no surprise that HighFleet was nearly unanimously picked by my viewers to play. So let's learn it.
