Fighting Street is a beat'em up game, based on very first Street Fighter game. All tho, this game doesn't have a original arcade version name, instead, author of this game decided to use a name Fighting Street, that was given to one of the home ports of Street Fighter 1 game.

The story takes place before the events when Ryu defeated Sagat by using his shouryuken move. It tells us a story about Ryu and Ken, who was a students under their master named Gouken. Later, they will travel through whole world, to improve their martial art skills and, eventually participate in very first Street Fighter tournament, where, later, Ryu will (or will not) defeat Sagat. And it is up to player to decide, if Sagat should be defeated or not.
