Final Doom - E12: Wandered in from space
18Every time I encounter a mystery switch (in any game, not just this one), I'm left wondering what the level designer intended the experience to be. I have to assume they happen for a number of different reasons (inattention; wanting to hide something that only a few will find; clues laid down that I'm not picking up on), but they always take the same form, so I have no way to tell which kind of situation it is.
