We're finally here at Hunted, the famous archvile maze. You have to find your way through a claustrophobic maze while being "hunted" by 14 archviles. It's a pretty epic map, and probably the first map to instill such a sense of dread from one enemy type alone. Make use of body blocking so they can't box you in, and you're golden. We also finally get our hands on the bfg, which we will be making plenty of use of in the coming maps. Getting a true 100% kills on this map is nearly impossible, and for the purposes of speedrunning and demonstrations the final 4 archviles are not necessary for a "true" UV-Max run (though with clever strats and luck it can technically be done). In fact, according to the Doom Wiki, the vanilla version of this game doesn't even count them towards the final kill count anyways.
