I thought for New Year's Eve I ought to do a pacifist run, as this year was the year of DOOM for me. DOOM Eternal introduced me to a most beautiful franchise of the past, now present, and certainly future. These DOOM games mean a lot to me now and despite me being late to the party, they will always have a top tier place in my book.

As such I wanted to make "peace" with the game as a thank you by doing a pacifist run of a Classic DOOM level. I thought of three levels to do so, all of them Plutonia Maps, Map 32, 31, and 11. After attempts and attempts of trying 32 and 31, I decided I'd need more time than just one day to perform a full pacifist run of those levels, as they are quite difficult and more luck oriented, so I settled on Map 11: Hunted. After watching Zero Master's 48 second pacifist run of the level, I thought it fair for me, a novice, to try to beat it in under a minute, and achieved a time of 58 seconds. Keep in mind this is not an official run to be submitted on speedrun.com or anything as for such a run to count it must be a demo file, and this is simply a gameplay recording.

For those curious this was recorded using the OBS Recording Software, and the gameplay shown was run on Crispy DOOM 5.9.2.
