Final DooM TNT Evilution OST Cover 01 - Sadistic (2020 Remake)
333After almost 10 years I've RE-made this cover. I could have made just a remaster, too bad that in 2012 my HD simply stopped working. There was no way to recover any project for all my YT videos. Even if I could, this one was recorded directly with Line6 Pod X3 sounds, so Reamping would have been a bit difficult. Or impossible for me, probably. This is what lead me to a system of quadruple HD backup. I have 4 HDs with the same content. I know it sounds paranoid (the fact that I'm a nobody and I've added "official" at my channel name should ring some bells), but I was close to losing also all my own personal music written in years. So quad backup system it is.
Back to Sadistic, Re-Recording is the only viable way. As usual I've mixed everything, to end up with an unsatisfying mix. Had to re-do everything, and this one sounds quite better. I hope...
I was also going to make an intro as Silentzorah's version, but I thought sticking to the original would have been a better idea to compare the 2020 and 2010 version
It took me a lot to come back to recording for the simple reason that I've been dismantling and reassembling (with new components and electronics) the 3 instruments you see here. I've spent all may's weekends on this, Sadistic was recorded last weekend. Footage of the work I've been doing on my guitars will come soon, and hopefully I can be more active and work on more covers.
As mentioned in the channel video and its comments I will link here the old video for reference because I will de-list when I'm done with TNT's remakes (Yeah, change of plans), meaning if you feel the need to hurt your ears with that version you will be able to always find it from here, but not from research or my vids list.
