Final Exam is an upcoming 2.5D sidescroller due to be released in early November for XBLA, PSN and Steam. It supports up to 4 player online (2 player local) co-op. This is from the early access version which is basically just a fancy way of calling it a demo since only the first of 8 levels is available. Each of the 4 different characters has a different play style as well as stats and skills that can be upgraded along the way. There appears to be 8 melee, 8 range and 3 explosive weapons which can be unlocked as well. Some elements of the game feel similar to games like Shank and Shoot Many Robots and the company behind this game is currently handing out early access keys for free on their website for anyone that wants to check the game out before it's officially released. Any achievements and character progression seem like they'll carry over to the official release as well.
