Seitengrat is one of the strongest weapons in the game and is usable by all party members regardless of jobs chosen. Manipulating the RNG on the PS4 version of the game was the only realistic way to attain this item, since its spawn chest has a 1 in 10,000 chance of appearing.

Sadly, I have been testing the RNG manipulation method on the Nintendo Switch version of the game but it appears to have been fixed and so the bow is going to be out of reach for the majority of you (outside a super lucky few).

This also means there is no realistic way to force any chest spawn at all now, including those in Cerobbi Steppe. As for Gendarme (an awesome shield) and Great Trango (the best sword), same story unfortunately.

I really hope somebody can discover a work around for this and please do share any ideas you have in the comments section. Maybe if we all work together we can correct this injustice and help our fellow Switch and Xbox One players out :)

In the mean time, at least we can change jobs!

Final Fantasy 12 was first released way back in 2006 on the PS2. At the time, it was considered somewhat controversial by many Final Fantasy fans due to its departure from traditional FF gameplay. However, it is now looked back on fondly and many would consider Final Fantasy XII to be the best entry in the franchise. In 2007 the International Zodiac edition was released (in Japan only), and this version of the game included a more traditional job-based system and a new battle areana. For this remastered release, these additional changes are being brought to us fans in the West for the first time ever - along with high resolution textures and remastered soundtrack!
