Original PS1 vs Remake comparison of the Sector 7 plate drop aftermath. This is the chapter 13 in the Remake where you get to see a lot of Barret screen time. Barret will start of the chapter crying for Marlene, Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie. In the original, Tifa is the one that informs him about Marlene. In the remake, Cloud will be the one to talk about it. Other Avalanche members like Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie were not mention in this part (but will be mentioned later at the chapter's end). Cloud seeing visions of Sephiroth is still there on the remake. It is quite longer though.
Sephiroth is the main antagonist of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII Remake, and one of the major antagonists in its extended universe. In spin-off appearances, Sephiroth is depicted as Cloud Strife's archenemy, and is seen as a symbol of Cloud's troubled past that haunts him.
