Final Fantasy 7 - Intermission - Way too many mini games so far!
This feels completely unnecessary. I love FF7 Remake's combat, the free flowing, the strategies that you need to employ to win, the graphics look amazing. This is a great game! 👍 However, this DLC, so far, doesn't feel like it's adding anything of value to the package. I think Square Enix was aware of that when they produced and distributed it. It feels completely tacked on after the fact. Like it wasn't in anyway apart of the original vision. It's just...more. Something to do while we wake for FF7 Rebirth. I feel like that is what the name is emphasizing. This DLC is an "Intermission" while we're supposed to wait for the next game. That's why I didn't play until just before posting it here. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, but everything feels more boring. The side quests aren't fun. Why can't I see Wutai? Why wouldn't Yuffie start there? At least make Wutai a cutscene. From the start, it's reusing assets. I don't want to find the turtle guy's flyers. Isn't taking the flyers hindering business? I don't care about Fort Condor. Decent strategy game, could use more depth and better rewards. I'd say it's at least better than Hearthstone, but Hearthstone is like 10 years old. This game is like a few years old, I just started playing it yesterday and I already have had enough Fort Condor for a lifetime. If I don't play it though, I'm going to miss some important treasure and game completion percentage for avoiding it. Not playing Fort Condor might impact the ending. Anyway, I don't really want to play Intermission, but I will so I don't miss anything looking forward to Rebirth, aka, the reason most people saw the first Captain Marvel movie. Anyway, I hope Intermission gets better, but right now it's kind of underwhelming.
