For a battle vs the main antagonist of the game, this isn't really too hard....hmm...
Well, before you can fight the Emperor himself, he will throw two waves (battles) of Royal Guards at you. You should be able to fight them off pretty easily, though they have a chance of inflicting poison.
After them, then you fight the Emperor himself, who is backed up by Royal Guards and a Wood Golem. Take care of the smaller enemies themselves, and the Emperor should become that much easier. Do not mind that he can buff himself before he is wide open for physical attacks. The Emperor does have a chance of using a Elixer on himself, but he might use it on himself before taking any damage. Even if he does use it at a correct time, you can still hack away at him with your strongest spells and attacks. Buffing your own party can even make this easier for you. Just keep at it, and he will fall.
