Story recap: The party journeys into a mysterious cave on the moon, where they find Bahamut, the father of the Eidolons. Seeing that Leviathan has granted them his power, he tests their strength, and joins Rydia as a summon.

Back inside the Lunarians' crystal palace, they learn that destruction of the Tower of Babil has shattered the barrier Zemus had put up around the lunar core. They begin their long journey downward to join Fusoya and Golbez in their final battle.
