0#finalfantasyix \nZidane and the team arrived at Madain Sari where they learned that Eiko and her moogle friends lived there. There, they learned that Eiko is a summoner who is the last of her tribe. While in the village, Princess Garnet learned about more about the Eidolons, thanks to the Eidolon Wall located in the village. She hoped to get her Eidolons back soon. The team stayed in the village for a few days. They also visited the Iifa Tree and somehow got rid of the mist. They returned to Madrin Sari, and during their stay, Zidane and Princess Garnet had a moment together, but as they towed away from the underground river, Princess Garnet had a flashback to her early childhood (shown in the beginning of the game) . While in that flashback, she fell unconscious. When she came to, it was revealed she had no recollection of her childhood, but remembered that she was in Madrin Sari. After thsi event, Lani attempted to steal the pendant again, but a unknown red haired gentlemen stopped it from happening, but battled Zidane. Eventually, they learned that this gentlemen is named Amarant (nicknamed Jimmy using voting incentives) . Eventually, Amarant joined the team and headed back to the Iifa Tree.
