Final Fantasy IX PC Part 44 - Sidequesting
1This video is basically just a bunch of jump-cuts to what I got up to
as far as sidequesting goes.
1) While not shown, I went and fought Grand Dragons for around 4 hours to get the party to a level range of 40-57 (in Quina and Zidane's case, since I was using Level 5 Death to kill the dragons instantly.)
2) I went back to Alexandria for some items that were not available
thanks to the latest disaster.
3) I built up a bit more on the Blue Magic front for Quina, though I
did not show this either.
4) Finally started the Chocobo Hot and Cold Sidequest that I could have started hours ago, but had decided to wait until now to do. I've shown all available Chocographs that I dug up and could access at this time. Usually Chocobo Hot and Cold is incredibly cruel to me, but it only took me about two and a half hours to get all of the forest graphs, adding on about an hour and a half more to get the ones I could currently grab from Lagoon. Luckily I had enough Dead Peppers to scrape through this time. Later in the game, you can get 99 Dead Peppers just from talking to a Chocobo in Chocobo's Paradise.

5) I only showed myself giving one Kupo Nut to the Moogle in Gizamaluke's Grotto. But essentially, as long as you don't already
have a Kupo Nut, you can receive one by delivering a letter to a
Moogle, then take them back to the Grotto for an item.
6) Heading back to South Gate to get a lingering chest that was
unavailable until now, as well as another South Gate for three more
chests.
7) Treno Auction House! The bidding is a bit of a drawn out process, so I just skipped to when I got the Thief's Gloves and Promist Ring, as well as items needed for Excalibur.
8) Second round of frog catching to get to that number of 99!
