We may have lost the Water Crystal but it means we get a new job, the Summoner. So why not we have some fun. Inside the castle of Walse, there's a Water tower that houses the summon Shiva. You may want to grind up just to be safe.
Shiva comes with three Ice Soldiers. All three are weak to fire. The only problem that you have to face is that she can unleash Blizzara on your party. You may need to split your party with two in the front, two in the back. This will alleviate the damage. You may also need to have more than one healer for this so they can heal if things get dicey. If your units have black magic, spam Fire. Trust me, it will help. It took me two attempts and boy it wasn't pretty.
When you beat Shiva, you earn the right to summon her.
