Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Boss Run – Final Fantasy IV Boss #22 & 23
10Arriving on the moon, they reach the Lunar Palace where the eight crystals now reside. It's there that they meet a Lunarian. He goes by the name of FuSoYa. FuSoYa reveals a lot to Cecil, including a revelation that the voice he heard of back in Mt. Ordeals belonged to his father, Kluya. Kluya went to Earth and fell in love with a woman from that planet. They bore two children. Cecil was one of them and the other was Golbez. Yep. Cecil and Golbez are brothers.
FuSoYa then details how Golbez was manipulated by a Lunarian named Zemus. He joins the party and heads for Earth. But they arrive too late as the Giant of Babil has been unleashed upon the world. Luckily for the planet, the people of both the overworld and underworld have united to stop this menace. It gets better when many of our allies are back on their feet and ready to fight: Palom, Porom, Edward, Yang and even Cid. As for Cecil and his crew, they're heading into the Giant of Babil to shut it down.
Inside the giant, they encounter many foes but the true test come in the revived Elemental Archfiends: Scarmiglione, Cagnazzo, Barbariccia and Rubicante. Zemus brought them back to take them down. At least Rubicante is nice enough to heal the party before the fight. Honorable. In this boss fight, it's a gauntlet and you will be fighting them in the order you fought the Fiends in FF1: Lich, Marilith, Kraken and Tiamat. However the Pixel Remaster has you facing them in the order you fought them. Milon hates Fire, Rubicante hates Ice, Cainazzo hates Lightning and Valvalis requires powerful attacks. That's pretty much it.
Later on, Cecil and the party encounter the CPU that's controlling the giant. So they got to take it down. Here's the strategy on how to take it down: Just take down the Defense Node and then focus on the CPU itself. That's it. If you take down both nodes, it responds with two nasty attacks that can wipe two of your party members. By following this method, you can take it down safely. Once the CPU goes, then destroy the Attack Node and you win.
At the end, Golbez confronts the party but FuSoYa gets in the way and uses his magic to break Zemus' hold over him. It's then Cecil learns the truth about Golbez. Yep, Cecil and Golbez are brothers. Realizing that he was manipulated, Golbez heads for the moon and FuSoYa comes along for the ride. They escape the Giant of Babil as it explodes with their next stop: the Moon. Oh and Kain joins the party. Cecil is just so damn forgiving you know?
The team of Cecil, Rosa, Kain, Rydia and Edge head for the moon for the inevitable final battle to come.
