7A lot to cover here surprisingly. If you do the dirty work to recruit a dark behemoth at Zeklaus Desert for Luso (you also get good poaches like cherche perfume) in the War of the Lions remake: it has a beastmaster Almagest (not to be confused with game Alcahest) move that allows it to be a tanky samurai with area of effect. Way better than Cloud's charging blade beam, though similar formulas of current - max hp but Almagest is instant and can hit a radius of 3.
This radius is for big summon magic (like cyclops 1000 jp being stronger than bahamut based on fandom info though surprisingly that has 4 but not worth paying 1600 jp whereas lich is a graviga for 600 though it can miss).

I find 1000 JP swiftness (speeds up magic but not aim/bardsong/dancing) to be very useless as you're better off just using basic ifrit or golem (human protection only) if enemies are fast (or simply slow/mimic darlavon for a siesta). I feel summon magic power crept black magic since similar to iaido, there is range. Arcane strength stacks to all of these and even instant geomancy for only 400 JP.
I confirmed that speed from adrenaline rush is why Fuma shuriken was stronger than my Ramza Ninja's double attack (only 100 in total) with a flame Mace and blood sword to heal with lifefont while moving and I will edit the fandom.

At this point in chapter 3 (on the way to Riovanes Castle's save trap), my orator Agrias vid helps a ton to get rare equipment from random humans as well as recruit monsters at a higher percentage though you need beast tongue if she is a holy knight, or arcane strength).
You can also Poach cherché (float/reflect on women) from behemoth king but it gets power crept in chapter 4 both by Meliadoul's Chantage (reraise and regen) and Tynar Rouge if you do Cancer 1st sidequest visiting a non-castle town for Agrias' birthday (needs mustadio, Agrias, and generic knights Lavian/Alicia and 500k Gil yet costs only 50k). I generally find rare poaching too tedious like Treasure hunter rares, though I once got a holy lance that helped a ton.
Unfortunately, Mustadio cannot be salvaged as concentration won't buff aimed shot and phoenix down is more reliable than sealed evil vs undead. Rousing Melody from a bard can him miss too, which speed improves his accuracy (which guns have 100% anyway and any knights can double rend as ninjas). Even the behemoth's heave attack can cause instant death and is way more accurate than the monk's doom fist and orator's condemn. it's basically Agrias' northswain's strike but stronger at the cost of range.
It was funny to see this ordinary party have a reverse boss battle vs me, kinda like being the bad guy Crow, in Nefarious (comic was better than game imo). They can do some damage if not careful as the chemists have X-Potions to heal a ton unlike the idiots a chapter later who use potion to heal barely any hp.
