That's right, after last episode being so long, I decided to be reasonable and break Exdeath's Castle into two episodes, your welcome :P But first I go over how much grinding I did (more explanation a little farther down for those that are interested) and what jobs and abilities people have, then we do the opposite of getting lost but STILL can't go anywhere. Gonna have to ask a ghost and a werewolf for help, I guess...

So, for anyone interested in what the job grinding was all about: When we get to end-game, I won't be using any specific job that I talk about while I'm playing because Freelancer exists and is better if you put the work in. It can equip any piece of gear, which is awesome, and while it stats with having bad base stats, it gains the best of each stat from all the jobs you've mastered on that character. So by mastering Summoner, Freelancer gets the Summoner's magic score, which is the highest in the game. In the same way, Thief gives the highest agility score, and Monk gives the best strength AND vitality scores. It also gets certain passive abilities from jobs the character has mastered, so if Bartz masters Blue Mage and switches to Freelancer, he'll have the Learning passive even if I don't equip it as an ability. I spent several hours grinding the main three jobs on all my characters since I plan to equip abilities from those classes on three of my people later in the game (Krile and Lenna will both have summon magic, and Faris will likely have Mug a lot of the time), and doing that kind of grinding this early when I know I have a spot to do it means I can run around as the fun jobs I want to master and enjoy myself while I'm recording. And no, mastering jobs and using Freelancer at the end IS NOT necessary to beat the game. It might make things easier, but it's not essential. If you don't want to, then don't, just have fun :)
