1A treasure chest containing a Protect Ring will trigger an ambush where either a Mecha Head or Prototype will appear. The Prototype has the exact same design as a Mecha Head, except some of its moves have a little more variety. It can launch fire, water, missiles, and mustard bombs. The mustard bombs have a chance of sapping a fighter. If it runs low on health, it can self-destruct to damage your entire party while sacrificing itself. After the battle, continue to make your way through the shrine.
