Not being able to unlock any party members meant I couldn't get Cure 3, Life 2, or Life 3. A... little... grinding balanced that out. The fixed dice was really helpful, but I also had 2 economizers as well, in order to keep my MP high. (That was where most of the grinding was) Everyone's MBlock was as high as I could make it, so they'd be able to dodge as many attacks as possible. (109 for Celes, 51 for Setzer, and 81 for Edgar)

Apparently the ending is different if you don't unlock the protagonist again.
