Entering the Figaro Cave after Gerad. This place hasn't changed since the World of Balance,but some stronger monsters are around now. When you reach the pond with the turtle you'll see Gerad use it as a secret entrance to Figaro Castle. Follow 'em! Once you reach the castle,there's only one path to take currently,into the basements on the west side. Monsters round here are weak to fire if you have trouble. When you reach a room with 3 doors,raid the chests then take the left door to find another chest. The center door is to continue. In the Engine Room you'll see the bandits get attacked by a monster,and Gerad offers to fight alone. Of course it was Edgar all along in disguise! BOSS FIGHT: Tentacles. 3 people vs 4 tentacles. Each has an elemental weakness if you wish to test and exploit it. They can get very annoying when they decide to grab someone,they become incapacitated and have their HP drained too. Just hit them until they let the person go. After the fight,the bandits assume Gerad died to the monster and they leave. They raided the treasure room,but there's a weapon in the statue to take still. Edgar officially rejoins the party at this point. Leave the basements when you're done,and get Figaro Castle to move past the western mountains.
